Lucy was born in 1953 at Wager Bay where she grew up on the land. When Lucy was 14 her family moved to Naujaat where she lived until she moved to Rankin Inlet with her husband. Inuaraq was born in 1935 on Southhampton Island, where she grew up living on the land. Inuaraq has worked with many groups over the years and has shared her knowledge through various programs. For many years Inuaraq worked to document Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit with the Department of Education as an Elder on the Elder’s Advisory Board who met a few time a year in Arviat.… Read more
Quluaq was born in 1944 at Duke of York Bay on Southhampton Island. Quluaq grew up in Coral Harbour, but moved to Rankin Inlet where she now has resided for many years. Quluaq has worked hard helping those in need through the church, supporting people who seek her out, and working with not for profit orginizations such as Ilitaqsiniq, where she works today.… Read more

Mike Tunalaaq Gibbons was born in 1943 and raised Arviat. Tunalaaq has worked in many different roles such as mechanic, Anglican Revrend, School Community Counsellor and now with Aqqiumavvik as an Ikajuuti Trauma Counsellor. Over the last few years Tunalaaq has been an Elder/Advisor to the Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit Research Department.… Read more
